I am a 100% disabled American veteran. I have a department of defense provided service dog.
Today when I went to shop at Grocery Outlet I was aggressively confronted by two of their employees saying that my dog was not allowed in the store. I continued to keep shopping because this has never happened at any other grocery outlet store where I have shopped which I do every week.
After the first employee confronted me a male employee came on to me very aggressively, speaking to me as if I were an animal. He was definitely a trying to start a a fight with me, which would have ended in a shooting.
I'm a combat veteran. I don't expect any American to try to attack me in a grocery store.
From what I understand, the owner of the store Randolph Barr cares for his own disabled brother.
Somewhere there are wires crossed. How any employee in any store would be allowed to be so aggressive as to be clearly in the field of an assault.
I am a native of siskiyou county where my father was a CHP officer for 30 years. Has California gone this far down the tubes? Should I expect more aggressive behavior?
Well...I won't.
It looks like someone needs to come to town and take out the garbage!!!
